Strickland Machinery works out of Vernonia, Oregon, supplying the motors and parts that keep Ultratech 1X steppers running in fabs and labs.
Why we exist
Ultratech's 1X steppers have been workhorses for decades. They are simple, robust, and still well suited to MEMS, advanced packaging, compound semiconductors, and R&D lines. The challenge is keeping them supplied once the original parts pipeline has dried up.
That is the problem we solve. We concentrate on the Stepper 1000, 1100, and 1500 base units, with a particular focus on the motors and motion hardware that wear out first. Narrow focus means we know the failure modes, keep the right inventory, and can tell you quickly whether a part will fit your tool.
When you call, you talk to the people who do the work. We would rather spend five minutes confirming your configuration than ship the wrong part.
